As a result of the COVID disruptions this year I have had a good look at our curriculum coverage and have made some changes to the summer topic from what is listed on the long term plan. This will just ensure that we have given the children experience of all aspects of the year 1 curriculum.
Our topic will have a focus on traditional stories and toys through the ages. Our way into this topic is through favourite, children talking about their favourite stories and their favourite toys. I hope to get us started with a fun day where the children can bring in their favourite toys and books. Keep an eye on class dojo for more details.
