Everyone seemed to enjoy their afternoon in their new classroom.  They were really busy enjoying the different challenges and even did fantastic tidying up.

This week our class text was Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. We have had a very busy week making bear biscuits, porridge and writing about real bears. We learnt lots of interesting facts about bears in the wild. We are looking forward to Jack and the Beanstalk next week!

We had great fun this week working together using our parachute. We had to work very hard to get the parachute to stay up in the air. 

Our favourite part was going underneath and looking at all the colours. 

We have been really busy both inside and out this week learning about how things grow and what we need to do to look after them. We have planted sunflowers, potatoes and wild flowers. Over the coming weeks we will continue to look after our garden and hopefully everything will start to…

We had a super morning exploring the fire engine and listening to the interesting facts from the fire fighters. 

We all enjoyed making Easter nests today and I am sure the children will enjoy eating them at home. We hope you all have a lovely Easter break.

This week in Maths we have enjoyed learning about weight and measure. We have been busy weighing and measure lots of different objects in the classroom and outside. 

To beginning our topic about transport and vehicles we had a policewoman visit school. We had the chance to look around her police van and she even let us hear the loud siren. It was great to get lots of information and answers to the questions we had. 

This week we have been learning about how other people celebrate different events in their communities. We focuses a lot on Chinese New Year and we enjoyed trying lots of different Chinese food.
